The Bowdoin rowing team posted numerous impressive results at the Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia. Bowdoin entered seven crews in five events and earned medals in four of them, including the gold in the Women’s JV Four.
After 22 years, it was Gil Birney’s last regatta as Head Coach. “I could not have asked for a better ending to the story,” Birney said. “All our crews had scrappy, close finishes with really talented competition. To do so well on this national level of racing is a tribute to our athletes and a great gift to this retiring coach. I am profoundly grateful to them.”
Can you repost the “complete results here” link…it does not appear to be working. Thank you!
