Bowdoin’s no-loan policy, adopted by Trustees in January 2008, eliminates student loans from the College’s financial aid package and replaces them with grants.
The practice has helped land Bowdoin on a shortlist of schools with “the best financial aid” along with Williams, Vassar, Amherst and Pomona.
As the parent of a Bowdoin sophomore, all I can say is THANK YOU, Bowdoin!
