Rudalevige Discusses Trump, Potential Conflicts of Interest on NPR’s ‘Morning Edition’ Archives

Thomas Brackett Reed Professor of Government Andrew Rudalevige said Donald Trump could face a tricky situation if elected president when it comes to potential conflicts of interest.

Most presidents have avoided conflicts by placing their investments in a blind trust under the control of a trustee, but Rudalevige said this may not work for Trump because of the nature of his assets. He was speaking on NPR’s Morning Edition June 9, 2016. Listen to Rudalevige on NPR.
