On June 16, Bill ’65 and Carolyn Springer hosted the 42nd annual Chicago Lobster Bake. A great group of Polar Bears enjoyed lobsters and steamers while catching up with friends old and new. This long standing tradition connects the Bowdoin Community in Chicago and welcomes incoming first years and their families. It was the last “hurrah” at the Springer’s home, however this annual event will continue on at a new location for years to come.
Many thanks to Bill and Carolyn for hosting the Lobster Bash for 40 out of the past 42 years! Nice to meet members of the class of ’22 though it was somewhat disconcerting for me to be the oldest alumnus there.
