The Washington Post‘s political science blog, Monkey Cage, has been running a series of short videos throughout the summer written and presented by Thomas Brackett Reed Professor of Government Andrew Rudalevige.
The series, Founding Principles, has examined all aspects of American government, from the Constitution, to the structure of government, from the electoral process, to the role of the media and policy implementation, and more.
In the fifteenth and final episode, Rudaievige said for the US system of democratic government to survive, “all of us need to live up to the challenges of self-governance. That means both activism and compromise, taking our responsibilities as seriously as our rights.”
