On July 1st, Bowdoin alumni, parents, and friends took part in a Common Good Day event at the Seattle Special Olympics USA Games. The Bowdoin community was honored to be apart of a two-mile long cheer line that greeted the athletes as they made their way from their dorms to the opening ceremony. Alumni reported back that being apart of this event was “energizing and inspiring”! A Bowdoin parent expressed her excitement saying “it was a fabulous experience!”
Very cool. I too am honored to work with Special Olympics here in the States, and in South America.
Thanks for your good efforts.
