Jake Adicoff ’18 has been named to the men’s US Paralympics Nordic ski team and will compete in the upcoming Pyeongchang Winter Games, which start March 9.

Adicoff, from Sun Valley, Idaho, last year won two gold medals and one bronze medal in cross-country events at a World Cup competition in Pyeongchang, which doubled as a Paralympic test event, according to the US Paralympics organization.

Paralympics Nordic ski races in South Korea will begin on March 10 with a biathlon sprint, and will finish with the mixed and open relays on March 18. Athletes compete in three categories—sitting, standing, and visually impaired—according to their impairment. Adicoff, who is majoring in math and computer science, will compete in visually impaired events.
