About a dozen students will have a front-row seat to how a presidential election is covered when they travel to WGME (Channel 13) this evening to participate in an election night viewing party.
As they watch reporting of the returns, students may also be tapped for their observations and be included in coverage broadcast on WGME/CBS 13 and Fox 23, and on the station’s webcast at WGME.com.
Andrew Rudalevige, Bowdoin’s Thomas Brackett Reed Professor of Government, will also be on hand—and on-camera—sharing his insights as the polls close and the votes are tallied.
Look for these familiar faces beginning at 7 p.m. on local CBS affiliate WGME and online, and join the conversation on Twitter with the hashtags #BowdoinVotes and #BowdoinWatches.
