Electrical engineer Shea McKeon ’10 has been recognized globally for his achievements in the burgeoning data center industry.
At the recent DCD 2017 awards ceremony in London, McKeon was honored as “Young Mission Critical Engineer of the Year.” According to the website, the award is presented to an individual under thirty “who shows a track record of achievement in project leadership and delivery, and a higher profile in our industry than their tender years would suggest.”
McKeon, who majored in physics and government, is currently project manager at the engineering firm Morrison Hershfield, where he works on large-scale data center projects in the greater Atlanta area.
