Bowdoin’s Rudalevige: James Comey an ‘Adroit Political Actor’ (U.S. News & World Report) Archives

Andrew Rudalevige

Thomas Brackett Reed Professor of Government Andrew Rudalevige described James Comey as a “very adroit political actor,” following the former FBI director’s appearance before the Senate Intelligence Committee in early June.

Comey was there to answer questions about the circumstances that led to his firing last month by President Donald Trump. Quoted in a U.S. News & World Report article, Rudalevige said Comey “didn’t make a watertight legal case against the president—but then, much of what is happening is not legal but political.” Read the article.
