Bowdoin’s Rose Joins Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration Archives

Bowdoin College President Clayton Rose has joined dozens of his colleagues from colleges and universities across the country as a member of the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration.

With 800,000 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, or “Dreamers,” under immediate threat of deportation if Congress doesn’t act, presidents and chancellors from public and private universities and systems, liberal arts colleges, and community colleges, representing thousands of students, faculty, and staff, launched the Alliance, a collective effort to improve how colleges and universities address immigration-related matters affecting their campuses.

“We stand with these students, their families, and the many others who are affected,” said President Rose. “They are strong, resilient, and courageous people who have overcome tremendous obstacles and who seek only to better their own lives and to contribute to our society. Immigrants and the children of immigrants are essential and invaluable to our nation, our history, and our campus community.”

The Alliance seeks to support the adoption of best practices on campuses and to work in a unified manner to communicate the need for federal and state policies that create a welcoming environment for immigrant, undocumented, and international students.

In typical fashion Bowdoin’s administration talks about diversity of their student body using DACA as a potential source of revenue and expansion of Bowdoin’s political agenda but fails to take action in regard to the diversity of the college’s faculty and a staff.
Thus the indoctrination of Bowdoin students continues the left wing ideology that puts this country in jeopardy.
