Michael Amano ’17 Receives Fulbright to do Research in Japan Archives

Michael Amano ’17 has been awarded a Fulbright award to Japan. He will be studying the epigenetics of trauma as it relates to survivors and descendants of the atomic bombings in Japan at the Radiation Effects Research Foundation. Michael is an Asian Studies and Neuroscience double major who plans to utilize both of his majors in this research project. He will continue his Japanese language studies this summer before starting the Fulbright in the fall.
