Professional decorators were in Smith Union all Friday, stringing up banners through the hallways and putting up lanterns and stars in Morrell Lounge in preparation for the annual Spring Gala. The lighting team came the following afternoon. The semi-formal dance, which started late Saturday night, offered students music by the Boston String Quartet and DJ Double G, as well as an on-site henna tattoo artist, photo booth and popcorn machine.
