Bowdoin’s 16th annual Honors Day celebration acknowledging the exceptional academic accomplishments of students and faculty will be held on the academic year’s last day of classes, Wednesday, May 9, 2012.
The festive program begins at 7 p.m. in Kanbar Auditorium, Studzinski Recital Hall. In addition to the presentation of departmental prizes, David K. Hecht, assistant professor of history, will give the Honors Day address, “Telling Stories About Science.”
Dean for Academic Affairs Cristle Collins Judd will present the Sydney B. Karofsky Award for Junior Faculty.
Music will be provided by pianist Sarah Liu ’13.
