Softball – The Bowdoin College softball team powered its way to a doubleheader sweep of Colby on a record-setting Saturday afternoon at Pickard Field, 7-1 and 8-0.

Baseball – The Bowdoin and Colby baseball teams split a doubleheader at Pickard Field on Saturday afternoon. The Polar Bears claimed game one, 6-5, before the Mules took game two, 7-5.

Men’s Track & Field – Bowdoin College placed second at the Men’s Maine State Outdoor Track and Field Championship Saturday at Colby College.

Women’s Track & Field –  The Bowdoin College women’s track and field team won the 2012 Aloha Relays this weekend at Magee-Samuelson Track.

Rowing –  Racing at the Riverhawk Racing Series hosted by UMASS Lowell, Bowdoin’s First Men’s and Women’s Fours came second to UVM by less than a second in each event, while the Second Men’s and Women’s Fours both won their races. The Novice Men’s Eight was second to UVM as was the Novice Men’s Four, and the Novice Women’s Four finished 3rd. The Bowdoin Navy races Sunday with Colby and Bates at the Presidents Cup in Greene, ME. Complete results at row2k.com.
