If you’re familiar with Brunswick, you know Bull Moose Records (founded by Brett Wickard ’90) and Bart and Greg’s DVD Explosion (co-founded by Bart D’Alauro ’95). Both business are part of the fabric of the town. They are also the places where recording artist Aly Spaltro launched her musical career. While working at Bart and Greg’s, Spaltro–who records under the name Lady Lamb the Beekeeper–left a stack of her CDs on the counter at Bull Moose. The rest, as they say, is history. Spaltro recently spoke with NPR’s Audie Cornish about her debut album and about the steps that launched her career.
