In light of North Korea’s continued acts of defiance after its failed rocket launch, China might have finally had enough of its tributary small neighbor, says Christopher Hill ’74, the former U.S. ambassador to Iraq and Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia.

In his latest opinion piece for Project Syndicate, Hill, currently Dean of the Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, writes that China should follow up on its United Nations Security Council vote to denounce North Korea’s behavior by terminating all bilateral trade.
