Women’s Golf – The women’s golf team finished fourth at the NESCAC Women’s Golf Tournament this weekend at Ralph Myhre Golf Course on the campus of Middlebury College.

Men’s Golf – The men’s golf team posted a strong sixth-place showing at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Qualifier this weekend at Hickory Ridge Golf Club in Massachusetts.

Rowing – The rowing team opened its fall racing season at the Textile River
Regatta in Lowell, Mass., where more than 3,000 athletes from more than 80 programs swarmed the docks. The Polar Bears had several impressive finishes, highlighted by the Varsity Women’s 4, which
took the gold by an impressive 29-second margin. The Men’s Varsity 4 won silver, while the Varsity Men’s 8 finished 11th; the Varsity Women’s 8 took 12th in competitive fields. Individually, Bowdoin’s sculler, Scott Mitchell ’15, took the bronze in the Men’s Club Single race. Complete results are available at textileriverregatta.org

Sailing – The sailing team picked up its first victory of the fall season, celebrating Family Weekend with a victory in the Hewitt Trophy race at Bethel Point. Trailing after Saturday’s opening day of competition, the Polar Bears overcame a steady rain Sunday to rally past Vermont for the first-place finish. Complete results here.
