Class of 2022 Application Facts and Figures

All admitted students for the Class of 2022 received their acceptance from the College by mid-March. Here are how the application numbers for the Class are shaping up so far (click the graphic to enlarge):      

Stepping into Color: An Exploration of Richard Pousette-Dart’s Visionary Paintings of Light and Space from the 1960s and early 1970s

Opening on April 19 and on view throughout the summer at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art, “Richard Pousette-Dart: Painting/ Light/ Space” invites visitors to immerse themselves in a group of mural-sized canvases by one of the great painters of the New York School.

In February, fifteen Bowdoin students helped Chicago-based artist Tony Lewis create two large site-specific wall drawings at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art.

Russian Folk Musicians Entertain on Campus

Some of the Bowdoin community were welcomed back from Spring Break by being taken on a musical journey through Russia, courtesy of the folk ensemble Zolotoj Plyos, who demonstrated a variety of musical styles, costumes, songs, dancing, and many different Russian folk instruments.
