The Bowdoin College Museum of Art presents After Atget: Todd Webb Photographs New York and Paris, now on view through January 29, 2012, in the Osher and Halford Galleries.
An American photographer who studied with Ansel Adams and befriended Alfred Stieglitz in his final years, Todd Webb (1905″“2000) spent the last decades of his life in Maine. This exhibition, however, considers the extraordinary imagery that Webb produced in New York and Paris between 1946 and 1952, just after he was discharged from the United States Navy. Read more.
