Comedian Hari Kondabolu ’04, who was the cover story subject of the latest Bowdoin magazine, has written the cover story for the latest issue of Spin for that magazine’s first-ever “Funny” issue, guest-edited by actor and comedian Patton Oswalt.

Hari writes about his younger brother Ashok, who is the “hype man” for the alternative hip-hop group Das Racist.

The members of Das Racist, Hari explains, discuss in their music many of the issues that he explores in his comedy, “including but not limited to: racism, colonialism, politics and cocoa butter.”
