Hundreds of Bowdoin alumni, family, and friends returned to campus for Homecoming weekend Oct 4-6. This year, Homecoming highlights included an Athletic Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony for Frank Sabasteanski ’41, Dana Verrill ’72, Dick Leavitt ’76, Christine Craig ’86, Marissa O’Neil ’05, and Eileen Flaherty Moore ’07, as well as the 40th anniversary of Women’s soccer, a women’s rugby alumnae reunion, and the reunion of the Peucinian Society.
Alumni were also invited to a “Food for Thought: Inclusion and Diversity at Bowdoin” lunch conversation and a Harvestfest Celebration with Maine craft beer and live music by Jerks of Grass.
They cheered on Bowdoin athletes at home games for field hockey, football, men’s and women’s rugby and soccer, and women’s volleyball. Plus, there were a variety of other alumni athletic games and gatherings throughout the weekend.
