Following a book-signing event with New York Times food writer Michael Sanders, author of Fresh From Maine: Recipes and Stories From the State’s Best Chefs, The College Store donated 20 percent of the proceeds to the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program. Jason Harvie, supervisor of The College Store, presented MCHPP with a check for $105; Sanders, on behalf of Table Arts Media, presented the agency with a check for $50.
