With thanks to Fortune magazine managing editor Andy Serwer ’81, the Bowdoin Polar Bear turned up on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Thursday to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its adoption as the College’s official mascot on January 18, 1913, after a vote by the Alumni Association in New York City.
