The Bowdoin College Museum of Art’s attendance record-breaking exhibition, Edward Hopper’s Maine, is among an elite array of finalists for the Association of Art Museum Curators 2011 award for “Outstanding Exhibition in a University Museum.”
“It is an incredible honor to be so recognized by our peers,” says Andrew W. Mellon Curatorial Fellow Diana Tuite, who helped curate the Hopper show.
The other four finalists are Brigham Young, Harvard, Pomona and Princeton.
Voting is open to members of the AAMC and closes April 25.
