For any New Yorkers who couldn’t make it to this summer’s Hopper exhibition at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art, there’s still an easy way to get your hands on a catalogue.
The exhibition catalogue for the attendance record-breaking Edward Hoppers Maine show, is prominently displayed at the bookstore at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Look for it also at the Whitney Museum of American Art bookstore.
The catalogue, also available online, contains essays by distinguished Hopper scholar Carol Troyen, Whitney Museum of American art curator Carter Foster, actor-writer-musician-writer Steve Martin, poet-critic Vincent Katz, Bowdoin College Museum of Art Director Kevin Salatino and co-curator Diana Tuite.
