The softball team celebrated its home opening day with a pair of mercy-rule wins over Thomas Monday afternoon.

The Polar Bears took game one in six innings, 8-0, before taking a five-inning, 9-1 victory in game two. With these wins, Bowdoin improves to 15-8 this season.
