Women’s Soccer – Morgan Woodhouse ’14 scored off a header with 9:25 left in the game to break a scoreless tie and lead Bowdoin College to a 2-0 victory over Colby College in NESCAC women’s soccer Saturday.

Men’s Soccer – Eddie Jones ’13 scored 8:45 into the game with what proved to be the game-winning goal as the men’s soccer team added a penalty kick later on in a 2-0 win over Colby College in NESCAC play Saturday.

Football – Led by 137 yards rushing and two touchdowns from Zach Donnarumma ’14, the football team picked up its first victory of the 2012 season with a 17-10 win over Tufts Saturday.

Men’s Golf – Led by medalist Dusty Biron, the men’s golf team won the CBB (Colby-Bates-Bowdoin) Championship Saturday at Martindale Country Club.

Field Hockey – Cathleen Smith’13  had a hand in all three goals as the field hockey team defeated Colby 3-0 Saturday.

Women’s Volleyball – The women’s volleyball team took a pair of important conference wins Saturday. The Polar Bears opened the day with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-19) win at Bates before returning to Brunswick for a dramatic 3-2 (25-18, 25-18, 20-25, 19-25, 15-13) win over Tufts.
