Bowdoin staffer Chris Taylor likes his coffee, and for the last twenty years, he has enjoyed three cups a day (he says he switched to decaf long ago) in the same Bowdoin mug he got when he started working here in 1990.
By Taylor’s count, that’s 15,475 cups of joe and counting, which means as many disposable cups saved from the landfill.
Sustainable Bowdoin estimates, if calculated in terms of Styrofoam cups, Taylor has saved the environment from nearly 4,000 pounds of C02.
