Bowdoin Sends Out Volunteers for Common Good Day, 2013 Archives

This Saturday, more than 500 students, staff and faculty spread out across the region to do good deeds. It was Common Good Day, an annual event at Bowdoin since 1999. Now the day of volunteerism is not just limited to Bowdoin, but takes places across the country as alumni keep up the tradition in their home cities.

This year, Bowdoin’s McKeen Center for the Common Good sent volunteers to more than 50 organizations, including land trusts, libraries, a soup kitchen and a humane society, from Portland to Georgetown. Below the photos is a complete list of visited organizations.
