Ben York ’19 who is autistic, gives a voice—a profoundly hilarious and insightful one, at that—to those who are unable to articulate what it means to have autism.
York has done this through presentations, such as the one he gave recently to providers within the Maine Department of Education’s Child Development Services system, and in his regular Bowdoin Orient column, “An Autistic’s Guide to Autism.”
York shared his story—and his work—with the WCSH newsmagazine 207.
