Men’s Golf: The men’s golf team had a tough go of it at the NESCAC Golf Championship Fall Qualifier, finishing 9th out of 10 teams.
Rowing: Bowdoin Rowing earned medals in four of the six events the team entered at Sunday’s Textile River Regatta, in Lowell, Mass. James Henry ’13 started the day with a gold medal win in the recreational single, a boat he just began rowing a week ago. The Novice Women’s 4 finished second behind Simmons, and Bowdoin’s second women’s 4 finished fifth. The men’s first boat took silver in the Open Men’s Four behind Merrimack Rowing Club (but took first among the college entries), and Bowdoin’s second boat came in 11th of the 27 entries. The women’s first boat claimed the bronze, the second boat finished fourth in a field of 26 crews. The novice men were fourth and the second boat eighth. The Men’s Double of Jack Wostrel ’15 and Scott Mitchell ’15 finished third to win the bronze, and the Men’s Novice Fours took fourth and seventh.
