At the Bowdoin Community Gospel Choir’s final concert of the year last Saturday evening, the audience joined in, repeatedly standing up in the Bowdoin Chapel pews to sing and clap along. The choir, directed by Alexis Little ’14, is a student-run group that welcomes singers from Bowdoin and the wider community. Its members this year are Donisha Thaxton ’14, Robbie Harrison ’14, Kathryn Lin ’15, June Guo ’16, Elena Schaef ’16, Tyrelle Johnson ’16, Cristina Lima ’16, Tomas Donatelli Pitfield ’16, Dillon Sandhu ’16, Emily Talbot ’16, Sewheat Asfaha ’16, Jasmine Austrie ’17, Alice Kim ’17, Luis Lopez ’17, Lucy Chen ’17 and Sarah Washington ’17.
