Bowdoin a Top Producer of Fulbright Students Archives

Fulbright_StudentProd_500x500Bowdoin is listed among the top bachelor’s institutions that produced the most Fulbright scholars last year, according to a recent list published by the Chronicle for Higher Education.

In 2012-2013, nine Bowdoin students received Fulbright scholarships.

The Fulbright program is the U.S. government’s “flagship international educational exchange program,” administered by the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. This fall, more than 1,800 students, artists and young professionals, in more than 100 different fields, received Fulbright grants to study, teach English or conduct research in countries around the world.

The program at Bowdoin is administered by the Student Fellowships and Research office.
