Singer-songwriter Max Garcia Conover ’09 performs in Portland tomorrow, Friday, February 10, 2012, to launch his new album, Birches Lo. Classmate Sammie Francis ’09, will open the performance at Mayo Street Arts, 10 Mayo Street, at 8pm.

“The new project has a heavy emphasis on connecting to the natural world,” Max says,  “so all the profits from the sale of the CD will be going to Chewonki, [where] I went on my Bowdoin Pre-O.”
