BowdoinOne Day exceeded its goal of attracting 4,300 donors by April 30, and the outpouring of support unlocked a $2 million contribution for financial aid.
BowdoinOne Day is an annual tradition where alumni donate and students show school pride by wearing Bowdoin gear. Students also express their gratitude for financial support by writing cards to donors.
The event, #bowdoinoneday, made some buzz on social media. Check out the Facebook page, website, and a Storify that captured the spirit of the day.
