Jennifer Adams ’90 says her lifelong fascination with China started at Bowdoin, where she took a course in Chinese history. In 1988, Adams spent her junior year studying in Beijing.
Adams went on to graduate from the NYU School of Medicine and is now an internist in New York City, where she works in a clinic serving a large Chinese community.
Adams was recently the subject of a short film made for Chinese television, directed by Ann Johnson Prum ’84, wife of Richard Prum H’14. The film, which also features Jennifer’s daughter, Julia Adams ’21, was produced by Puiking Hui, the wife of Bowdoin College trustee Andy Serwer ’81.
Good to hear about/from “Jen” again..it has been awhile since we served on the Alumni Council…a delightful woman!
Best wishes
