Allen L. Springer is Professor of Government and Legal Studies with general teaching responsibilities in the field of international relations. He offers courses in international law and international organization, United States foreign policy, and international environmental policy. A graduate of Amherst College and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Professor Springer’s primary research interest is in the intersection of law and policy in the field of international environmental protection. He also has a particular interest in regional marine environmental management, with an emphasis on Canada-United States relations.
