This is a set of scripts to notify library users of new materials in the CBB shared catalog. I didn't write the scripts, but inherited updating them for our current catalog system and maintaining/improving them.

The George Mitchell Congressional Record index

This resource provides access to all references related to Senator George J. Mitchell printed in the Congressional Record, the official record of the business and conversations conducted by the United States Senate and House of Representatives.

This was a fun project to be involved in - taking an excel spreadsheet of data and turning it into a searchable, sortable web resource. It was even written up on the Bowdoin website

ArchivesSpace

We've recently switched from Archivists Toolkit to ArchivesSpace in our Special Collections department. There has been a lot of moving parts to play with.

Special Collections Finding Aids generation

I developed a set of PHP scripts to convert our Manuscripts Collection finding aids from EAD XML to HTML, and am working on a similar system for our College Archives finding aids.
