Confocal Microscopy
Examine neuronal morphology in the auditory interneuron, INT-1, of the Gryllus bimaculatus cricket with Dr. Hadley Wilson Horch. Project involves dissection, imaging neurons filled with fluorescent material using a confocal microscope and creating interactive 3-dimensional animations. Use Volocity, OpenLab, Final Cut Pro, and Zeiss Confocal software.
