Example Questions

Potential Interactive

Topographical map for "Correlation"

We plan to make topographical maps or heat map for the "correlation" category of questions asked. These maps will look like tables with scatter plots inside each fields. Each country will be plotted as points in appropriate fields (squares), but be randomly positioned within the square every time it is generated. We hope to make the plot interactive by allowing the user to click on a desired square to zoom in, at which point the user can get more information on each plot by hovering over them. We hope to further make these plots interesting by displaying the actual flags when the user prompts - maybe by clicking on the plot after zooming in.

Pie graphs for "Most popular"

We believe that pie graphs, despite the criticisms they receive from our sources, would be the most optimal for the "most popular" catergory of questions asked. This is because we are dealing with whatever portion of the whole with these questions. We also believe that we can make it interactive by emphasizing the portion of the pie graph when prompted - that is, by clicking or hovering over them. Also, we could program the pie chart so that we can choose different qualifiers.
