Bowdoin College

At the peak of Fall, Bowdoin's campus looks its best.

Quad Scene

View of the Quad from the other side. The flag pole in the foreground was originally built in the middle of the Quad in the 1800s. Shortly after it was erected, the students, who always thought of the Quad as their own space, moved it to its present location in the middle of the night. It has stayed there since.
