Student Curators Use Digital Know-How to Highlight Prestigious Medal Collection

Three student curators launched their first exhibition over the summer, highlighting the Bowdoin College Museum of Art’s prestigious Molinari medal collection. They collaborated with college and museum staff to develop an innovative web-based interface to help visitors to the museum get the most out of the show.

Bowdoin’s Khoja-Moolji Discusses New Book on Girls’ Education with Mariya Ilyas ’13

Assistant Professor of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Shenila Khoja-Moolji recently published Forging the Ideal Educated Girl: The Production of Desirable Subjects in Muslim South Asia  (University of California Press). The book received an award from the Islamic Humanities project at Brown University, which makes the electronic version free to download.
