Over two-hundred alumni, parents, and friends gathered at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History to welcome Bowdoin’s fifteenth president! Attendees were able to explore the Sant Ocean Hall, beneath a 45-foot-long replica of a North Atlantic Right Whale, while discovering the giant squid, a lion’s mane jellyfish, and of course, a polar bear. Remarks were given by Dave Anderson ’00, David Roux P’14, and President Rose in the shadow of the museum’s centerpiece, the African bush elephant.
