The first snowmobile in Labrador was a repurposed 1927 Model T, brought there aboard the schooner Bowdoin by none other than Donald MacMillan (Class of 1898). For the better part of a century, the historic vehicle has been lying in pieces in the boreal forest of northeastern Canada, but now it’s recovered and undergoing restoration.
