Composer Elliott Schwartz, Robert K. Beckwith Professor of Music Emeritus, is releasing a new CD of chamber music titled “Tapestry.” The album includes two tracks recorded live at the Library of Congress, with performers using Stradivarius instruments from the Library collection. Available through Metier, the CD features Peter Sheppard Skærved on violin, Nicole Johnson on cello, and Aaron Shorr on piano, along with the string ensemble Longbow and the London-based Kreutzer Quartet.
