If you talk with people who have used or been affected by computers, you will  
observe two basic attitudes: They loved the computer or they hated it.  Most
people enjoy computing and can think of ways the computer would be useful at 
home.  Once purchased, the computer's success depends largely upon how well
the purchaser's expectations were met.  What can we expect from a home com-
puter?
